Can 5 Hour Energy Kill You?

The FDA is investigating the 5Hour Energy drink because of reported deaths linked to the drink. Not that long ago the energy drink market was summoned to a Congressional hearing involving the safety of these drinks.

There have been 92 so-called adverse event reports, including 33 involving hospitalization.

All while going on the offensive earlier in 2012 before many of these reports came out with this video showing a bunch of doctors saying its product is safe for most people.

In July, the New York State Attorney General issued subpoenas to Living Essentials, Monster Beverage and PepsiCo Inc., maker of AMP, as part of a probe the energy drink industry.
